Location

Rockfish Gap Hawk Watch is held on the grounds of the Inn at Afton, located on the southern side of Rockfish Gap, just above where I-64 (exit 99) intersects with Rt 250, Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway (just east of Waynesboro and 20 miles west of Charlottesville, VA). Parking is available. We usually conduct the watch from the northwest corner of the Inn.

There are several Traffic Cams available online to check traffic and weather:
TrafficLand – Click on the cameras at or near Afton on I-64.
VDOT Virginia 511 Traffic Info – zoom in to I-64 at Afton and click on camera icon.
Weatherbug – this shows several cameras near Waynesboro, VA. Click on I-64 at Afton Mountain.
